The Italian-American pizza place, at 119 S. Western Ave., will serve pies, sandwiches (like the meatball hoagie pictured above), pasta, and wings.

“Farina” is Italian for “flour.”

It’s unclear when exactly Farina Pizza will open as Galifi on Tuesday did not immediately respond to a request for comment by What Now Los Angeles, but it could be any day.

The fast-casual restaurant is currently hiring cooks and cashiers to start “immediately.”

Galifi, who grew up cooking in his father’s Palermo, Sicily restaurant, is the owner of Casa Mia Sicilian Trattoria in La Puente.
