After scouting locations in Downey, Pico, and Whittier, Hernandez tells What Now Los Angeles that they have “agreed with a landlord” on a space in the Big W of the Gateway Cities, and are currently ironing out details with attorneys.

EggBred boasts locally sourced and handmade breakfast and lunch items in a fast-casual format. With a passion for quality and consistency, the EggBred team crafts the entirety of its menu from scratch.

“We make our sauces in-house, use cage-free eggs, serve our own proprietary blends of proteins, bake our own cheddar biscuits, and source our delicious milk buns and English muffins from local artisan bakeries,” explains the site.

Some notable offerings include Scramble Me Softly (soft scrambled cage-free eggs, chives, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar, and smoked paprika spread on a toasted milk bun), the Ribeye Steak & Egg sandwich, the Black Forest Ham breakfast burrito, and The Breakfast Poutine (beer-battered potatoes, buttermilk popcorn chicken, country sausage gravy, soft poached cage-free egg, cheddar jack, roasted pepper chimichurri and chives in a bowl).
