“We’ll offer a similar menu as our original location, plus rotating items and chef’s specials every month,” Kanteman told WNLA

The sushi bar, which prides itself on “only selling the freshest fish” will have eight taps with local brews and Japanese beers on draft, plus wine, seltzer and a variety of sake options.

“We serve sushi with a California flare. All my chefs have been traditionally trained and worked under amazing Japanese tutelage, which I’m really proud of.”

According to Kanteman, the restaurant’s Red Bull roll, served with seared filet mignon on top, is one that guests come from miles around to try.

Go Fish has previously been voted the best sushi in Simi Valley by Ventura County Star and Restaurant Guru.
