Sam’s Bagels, a bagel staple in L.A. with locations in Larchmont, West Hollywood, Pico-Robertson and Santa Monica, is eyeing a new location in Beverly Hills. They are waiting on a few items from the landlord before officially finalizing the lease.
“I grew up in Beverly Hills, so I’ve been looking to open in the neighborhood since we got into the bagel business,” the owner told What Now Los Angeles.
Sam’s is a low-profile, no frills joint that does not have a website or any social media pages, but has been praised by various media outlets and locals as the best bagels in Los Angeles. The bagel purveyor gained popularity over the years due to its authentic and extensive selection of bagel styles – including jalapeño, cinnamon raisin and sun-dried tomato – different schmears, and sandwiches.
An official opening date for the Beverly Hills location has not been announced.
