A new Mediterranean restaurant dubbed Lava Kitchen has moved into Decker Kitchen’s old space in Westlake Village’s County Line Shopping Center, the Conejo Valley Guide reported. A public notice of application to sell alcoholic beverages is posted in the window.
In a California SEC filing, Pegah Ramak is listed as president of Lava Kitchen Corporation, located at 4661 Lakeview Canyon Road, where Lava Kitchen’s signage has appeared.
Ramak has been operating Rama’s Events and Catering out of Redondo Beach with her sisters, Ellie and Elham Ramak, for several years. According to Rama’s website, “After five years of planning events and catering for our family members we decided to make the most out of what we love to do and that’s when Rama’s was born.” Their company specializes in catering, event planning, theme parties and showers.
Now, it seems the Ramak sisters are trying their hand at a brick-and-mortar location. Pegah Ramak could not be immediately reached for comment.
