MOOYAH Franchisee Begins Scouting More LA Locations

When WNLA had the privilege of interviewing Sam Aishoua in April, the idea of expanding was just that -- an idea. Now, it’s definitive.

Longtime Los Angeles convenience store owner Sam Aishoua has partnered with the MOOYAH — a Texas-based fast-but-never-frozen chain — to open the area’s first branch of the burger joint in Valencia. Unsurprisingly, Aishoua’s passion for the brand has inspired the owner to begin looking for additional locations in L.A., according to a rep for the company.

As for how Aishoua landed on MOOYAH, he tells WNLA, “Initially, I loved the image, the coloring, and the design. That spiked my interest and I started learning more about the brand: the kind of meat they use, how they cook their buns in-house, their fresh-cut fries — all of that caught my eye. It was special.”

With two convenience stores on Hollywood Boulevard and over two decades in said industry, Aishoua is no stranger to running a successful business. The entrepreneur says, “I consider myself a good business operator; I care about details and consistency. I intend to follow and rely on the system set in place — it’s there for a reason — but also to put my signature on things.”

This article will be updated as information regarding where exactly Aishoua intends to expand becomes available.
