JINYA’s new restaurant reinforces the brand’s continuing growth momentum, marking its eighth location in California and 60th nationwide. Located at 6600 Topanga Canyon Rd in the Westfield Topanga shopping center near Target and Macy’s will be open daily between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.

The festivities begin with free ramen for the first 50 lunch diners at 11 a.m. and another 50 free bowls for the dinner crowd, starting at 5 p.m. To truly spice up the celebration, one lucky winner will receive the Golden Bowl Ramen – a piping hot bowl of delectable ramen, served in a golden bowl and delivered with celebratory sparklers.

“We selected Westfield Topanga for our newest flagship location because the area felt like home to me,” said CEO and Founder Tomo Takahashi in a statement. “Having resided in this region for over a decade, my family and I frequented Westfield for shopping and dining. When I learned about the ambitious project taking shape in Topanga, I saw it as the ideal opportunity to establish our restaurant here. We have created a wonderful home base for our brand in California, and I’m thrilled to open a new corporate location and training facility here. This is our 8th location in the state, and our 60th location nationwide. We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone with our loyal California community.”

After Takahashi moved to the U.S., he discovered that traditional ramen options were limited, so he made it his mission to bring a piece of his culture and passion for ramen stateside, opening his first JINYA Ramen Bar in California in 2010. The brand continues to turn up the heat and has since expanded across the country, with a substantial footprint in Colorado, Texas, Florida, Hawaii, Arizona and more.

Slowly simmered for more than twenty hours, each of JINYA’s six broths balance flavors from whole pork bones, chicken and vegetables with just the right amount of bonito, dashi, miso, kombu and other classic Japanese ingredients. The result is a rich broth that is thick and flavorful. While ramen is JINYA’s hallmark, guests can enjoy a variety of traditional and unique dishes, including mini tacos with spicy tuna, Tokyo curry, vegan options and more. To complete the dining experience, JINYA’s menu also features a wide array of signature cocktails, so guests can always find a perfect pairing.
