The new location will move into the former home of Mark Wahlburg’s family burger joint, Wahlburgers, according to Eater LA. Co-owners Carl Goldberg and Kathy Sidell confirm with What Now Los Angeles that they hope to open the new location along the bustling Sunset Strip sometime in Fall 2022. This will become the company’s third location, with a new site coming to London in the next few months. Chef Kyle McClelland is the mastermind in the kitchen at the original Saltie Girl in Boston.

When the new location opens, customers will have a lot to look forward to, from mouth-watering seafood towers to tomahawk steaks. Other delicious entrees expected for this restaurant include fried lobster and waffles, French burgundy snails with black garlic butter, Chowder, bisque, an impressive raw bar, and lobster rolls by the ounce. All of this comes from chef McClelland, who has experience working at The Federalist, Ambrosia on Huntington, The MFA, Ten Tables, Pigalle, Clio, and more.

Saltie Girl isn’t only about delicious seafood, but also a sophisticated drink menu from a full bar featuring specially curated wines, beers, and spirits. The restaurant will also offer an innovative mocktail menu with drinks like “Pineapple” with Elyx, lemongrass, and citrus soda. Those interested in trying this restaurant later this year are encouraged to make reservations once available, as this East Coast seafood restaurant is expected to become a popular eating destination in West Hollywood.
