News of this expansion has been swirling for years now, but the pandemic and other factors have delayed the opening. Now, owner Stephanie Morgan tells What Now Los Angeles she finally hopes to open the new location in mid-to-late April 2022. Morgan has made it her mission since 2010 to push the boundaries of vegan cuisine. The existing Long Beach and Costa Mesa locations have garnered plenty of recognition, most recently landing as number one on VegNews’ list of “36 Best Vegan Sandwiches.”

Seabirds started over a decade ago as a food truck serving Los Angeles and Orange County. From the time in the food truck to their storefronts, the company bases its menu around seasonal produce, unique flavor combinations, and creative techniques. Seabirds Kitchen also makes just about everything from scratch while using top-notch ingredients and locally grown fruits and vegetables throughout the menu. Popular dishes include stuffed shells, bibimbap bowl (Long Beach only), and jackfruit nachos.

“Our menu is about bringing the flavors of these wonderful fruits and vegetables to life and letting them shine,” according to their website. “We are constantly experimenting with new ingredients and techniques to create dishes that elevate plant-based food beyond the standard. Try our seasonal menu today and join us on our culinary journey.”
