Per a recently filed ABC application, Nuvola will involve Chef Luca Crestanelli, the executive chef and co-owner of Santa Ynez’s S.Y. Kitchen; Robert “Roby” Facciolla, partner and GM at Brentwood’s Toscana & Bar Toscana; and Mag Management, LLC, an entity which appears to be owned by Michael Gordon, co-founder (along with his wife Kathie) of Toscana Restaurant Group. The couple opened Toscana, a Northern Italian trattoria on San Vicente Boulevard, over 34 years ago before launching Bar Toscana just next door.

The Gordons also co-own S.Y. Kitchen, Crestanelli’s Nella Kitchen & Bar located at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn in Los Olivos, and Beverly Hills’ Nerano. Neither party responded to WNLA‘s request for comment regarding the incoming Nuvola.

All that’s known, for now, is that the spot will be an “eating place” selling beer and wine and share the corner with Cal-Mex restaurant Casa de Campo. This article will be updated as more information becomes available. Until then, anticipators can keep up with TRG here.
