La Cabana Seafood is Adding Drinks, Entertainment, and a New Look to its El Faro Plaza Space

La Cabana Seafood's second location will undergo a lot of physical changes, including features to adhere to the newly filed liquor license.

Antonio Mayorquin has filed a liquor license for his restaurant, La Cabana Seafood, at 4433 S Alameda S in the El Faro Plaza, with plans to not only add libations but to also overhaul the space itself. The application was originally filed in October of last year, which detailed the intent to include drinking and live entertainment. Mayorquin also confirmed with What Now Los Angeles that the restaurant is undergoing pretty extensive changes, including a physical makeover. “I am changing the image of the restaurant with a new menu now that the beer and wine license is being approved,” he said.

According to the planning documents, the area where the restaurant is located will be cleaned up significantly, having all graffiti in the area removed during this makeover. A barrier is also being installed along the dining area to ensure adequate separation between dining areas and common areas and walkways. In addition, security cameras will be installed in the area.

Mayorquin hasn’t given any indication as to when the renovations will wrap up, but the revamp La Cabana Seafood is joined by another location by the same name, at 575 E Pico Blvd.
