A recent filing for a liquor license at 4921 W Adams Boulevard suggests that Owner and Chef Avner Lavi may be expanding Cento Pasta Bar. According to the official website, Lavi and longtime-friend Santos Uy opened the original Cento Pasta Bar as a lunch residency at Santos’ downtown wine bar Mignon in 2015.

The original pasta bar on 6th Street is often bustling with smiling faces as Lavi simultaneously prepares exquisite, fresh pastas and charms his patrons with genuine conversation. Guests are able to sit at the pasta bar with a unique view of the master at work from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturday.

While the menu at Cento Pasta Bar changes weekly, past pasta dishes have included Sweet Corn Carbonara (sweet corn, pancetta, and white truffle); Cacio e Pepe (fresh cracked black pepper, butter, and parmesan); and Papardelle with bolognese (prime ground beef, tomato, and parmesan).

It will be exciting to see what the new Cento Pasta Bar in the West Adams neighborhood may bring to the bar top.
