The fast-casual chain’s last day will be March 15, 2020, a manager for the Warner Center Red Robin confirmed with What Now Los Angeles (WNLA) in a telephone conversation Monday.

While the several-decade-old restaurant’s lease is not up for renewal, staying open doesn’t make financial sense, the manager said.

Red Robin corporate on Monday did not immediately respond to several comment requests when reached over the telephone by WNLA.

News of Red Robin’s forthcoming closure arrives amidst a multimillion-dollar shakeup at Westfield Topanga transforming the former Sears into “The District,” including the relocation of nearby AMC Promenade 16 to the Warner Center mall.

The closing Red Robin should not be confused with the nearby outpost in Northridge, at 9301 Tampa Ave. #128, which will remain in business.

Aw I go to this mall and sometimes eat here, by the time I go back to the mall it will be closed. I wonder what they will put in place.
