Earlier this year, it was announced that several new tenants are making their way towards The Shops at Sportmen’s Ledge, a recent multi-million dollar redevelopment. One of which, Roberta’s Pizza, is progressing towards moving into its new spot in Studio City, located at 4220 Coldwater Canyon Ave #116

Since What Now Los Angeles reported on the new tenants, Roberta’s Pizzas has given more details regarding the new location ahead of their presentation to the Studio City Neighborhood Council’s Land Use Committee. The new restaurant will sit in a 1,493 square-foot space with 22 interior seats. Roberta’s Pizza is also requesting a 316 square-foot patio with an additional 14 seats. Their hours of operation are proposed for 11 am to midnight daily.

Once the Studio City Neighborhood Council approves their plans, the restaurant will carry on its plans to open by the end of the year. The New York-based Pizzeria will join Civil Coffee, Free People Movement, Madison Reed, Myodetox, SALT Optics, Tocaya, Tuesday’s Sweet Shoppe, Ushi Ushi, and luxury supermarket chain Erewhon Market at the newly developed The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge.

The pizzeria began serving wood oven-cooked pizzas from their original location in Bushwick in 2008. Owners Brandon Hoy and Carlo Mirarchi expanded across the country when they opened their second location in Culver City a decade later. Last year, Roberta’s Pizza was able to open its third location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The slow-growing pizza chain gained attention for its “hipster vibe” and their occasional “Tiki Disco” parties, hosting one at Bonnaroo Music Festival in 2013. At one point, the restaurant was named one of America’s top 15 pizzerias by The Daily Meal.
