This is the first of a much larger footprint for Vandelay Hospitality Group, based out of Dallas, TX. The group consists of several brands, mainly throughout Texas, such as East Hampton Sandwich Co, Drake’s Hollywood, Lucky’s Chicken, D.L. Mack’s, Brentwood, and The Anchor Bar. Now the group gets ready to open Hudson House’s sixth location, with another site coming to Houston. The group’s California debut will launch sometime in July next month.

When the new restaurant opens, guests can expect upscale east Coast upscale casual dining options, starting with the raw bar and various appetizers. Some expected entrees include French chicken, steak frites au poivre, and maple planked salmon. Other options include the catch of the day, a seafood platter, and various sandwiches, salads, and sides. The Texas group hopes this is the first of many Hudson Houses coming to Southern California, despite having the same name as a Gastropub in Redondo Beach.

“Since 2012, Vandelay has developed restaurant brands and services that evoke a combination of rich American heritage, exquisite craftsmanship, and an eye for detail,” according to the group’s website. “Our dedication to honest food and credible service is predicated upon our commitment and respect to our partners and guests.”
