Cosette Wine + Restaurant — a culinary concept from Laurie Resnick, Greg Salmeri, and Sasha Hagenlock of Rolling Greens Nursery — will premier at The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City in late summer, according to Hagenlock.
In the mid-’80s, plantscape experts Resnick and Salmeri combined their businesses to create the OC-based Associated Group — a company that would, over the years, become popular for its interior and exterior landscape design, installation, commercial holiday décor, and maintenance.
Then, in 2001, Resnick and Salmeri purchased the first Rolling Greens Nursery on Jefferson in Culver City, CA. The project provided plants, containers, and accessories to the trade and has since expanded with two additional locations on Beverly in Mid City and on Mateo in Arts District DTLA.
Eventually, the company realigned and reorganized its approach, assigning the Rolling Greens name to its retail and horticultural divisions and keeping the Associated Group name for its holiday display division.
In 2017, Resnick’s daughter Sasha — chef and sommelier — joined the team as Events Director and, according to Resnick, is the creator of the incoming wine bar that will be located within the team’s fourth Rolling Greens location at 12833 Ventura Boulevard.

For now, The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge website describes the project as follows:
“This new location will be no different [than our other well-considered outposts] but will offer its own unique story indigenous to the area. With a two-level concept featuring a wine bar, interactive workshop space, scent + oil apothecary bar, [and] lush rooftop outdoor garden…indoor and outdoor design lovers will have plenty to explore!”
