Tru Bowl Superfood Bar is adding even more locations throughout Los Angeles County, opening new stores in Inglewood and Glendora, the latter at 1820 E Rte 66.
The fast-casual superfood eatery currently has locations in Azusa, Newport Beach, Whittier, and Huntington Beach. Now, the company is adding two more sites in Glendora and Inglewood. Franchisees Lucy and Erwin Manalo will be in charge of the former, hoping to have a grand opening in early December 2022. She tells What Now LA the location is having its soft opening in the next few weeks. The Inglewood site and opening date are still unknown.
Tru Bowl Superfood Bar features customizable craft bowls with oatmeal, acai, pitaya, warm chia pudding, greek yogurt, and other bases. The eatery also offers plenty of premium smoothies, juices, and repHreshers, made with no artificial flavors or additives. Currently, the company is offering a $15 fall bundle deal that includes a 16 oz bowl, a wellness shot, and a celsius or goat fuel. The company only offers online ordering for its Newport Beach location.
This will be Manalo’s first restaurant, she is opening this restaurant with her husband. She says the new Tru Bowl Superfood Bar will follow corporate standards and be similar to every other location. Unlike the rest of the company locations, the new Glendora location will feature a hand-painted mural on the back wall from Manalo, who has worked as one of the art teachers at Glendora High School.
