News of this expansion started in 2020 when What Now LA reported the possible development with a lease agreement that was still up in the air. Nearly a year and a half later, the company has finally made progress in opening this location, recently applying for a liquor license through the Alcoholic Beverage Control. This new location was initially slated to open in early-2021, according to early reports. Now, the company is getting ready to open this location within The Vineyards at Porter Ranch sometime in Spring or Summer 2022.

This is one of many new locations coming to Los Angeles and across the country. According to the company’s website, Silverlake Ramen plans to open new locations in Burbank, South Pasadena, Manhattan Beach, Santa Clara, Downey, and Van Nuys, as well as in San Diego and Houston, TX. Silverlake Ramen can already be found throughout Southern California, as well as in Georgia, North Carolina, Washington, and Texas.

When these new locations open, guests can expect all the dishes that have made this one of the fastest-growing ramen restaurants in the country. There will be plenty of ramen, of course, as well as appetizers such as creamy broccolini, grilled or fried gyoza, and three kinds of mushrooms with butter. For entrees, guests can find several sushi rolls and bowls, stuffed with fresh fish and various vegetables.

“From the fabric of the streets to the kitchens in our homes, Silverlake Ramen is crafted to feed the soul,” according to their website. “Our environment is designed to mix street-inspired visual twists with rave-worthy flavors sure to satisfy every family member. We encourage our guests to boldly slurp away.”
